Whispering Pines Gift & Gallery in downtown Cable, Wisconsin shows local and regional artists, featuring a showroom for Blue Moon Pottery. We are the only store to carry hand-carved mugs with local lakes and boast a great variety of Northwoods decor. We have a selection of gourmet foods sure to please even the pickiest of eaters and beautifully etched barware, bamboo cutting boards and cheese spreaders (we are in Wisconsin after all). We also have a new line of scarves, jewelry, handbags, fashon accessories and skin care. History In 1980, The Gallery opened as an artist guild. Soon after, Seddy Cogswell acquired the place and ran it as an art gallery until 1992. The Vanderploegs then took over in 1993 and changed the name to Whispering Pines Gift and Gallery. In 1995, the Christmas Attic was added with gourmet food and wine accessories coming in 1998. In 2008, the Candle Cottage was established next door. For the last 20 years, this has been a place for local artists to showcase their talents. Now days, we offer customers many other high quality handbag, gourmet food and wine and northwoods decor items to compliment the vast selection of artwork.
Pottery Whispering Pines features an entire wing showcasing Blue Moon Pottery items. Whether you are looking for plates, mugs, vases, lamps or stand-alone art pieces, you will find it in the Blue Moon section. We are also your exclusive place for Lake Owen, Lake Namakagon and Pigeon Lake mugs. Additionally, we have several beautiful pieces by Davy Pottery, KC Pottery, Front Ave Pottery and more local and regional artists.
Gourmet Food and Wine Accessories Whispering Pines features a large selection of gourmet bread and pancake mixes, salsas and sauces. In our wine accessories section, you will find Lake Owen and Lake Namakagon wine and shot glasses, cheese boards and knives, designer bottle stoppers, and much more. Wine and cheese connoisseurs will love the variety and quality of our products.
Other Items Our Northwoods Decor and Accents section features moose, bear and loon-themed decor items perfect for your cabin or summer home. We also carry handbags by Marie Osmont, Mod, Poppies, Shiraleah and other top brands in addition to pashmina wool and other ladies scarves.
